Doug Schwarz is a self taught photographer from Oklahoma City. He hates the shiny glamourous way most people shoot and opts for darker, grittier views. This applies whether its shooting models, or his favorite band She Wants Revenge, whose concerts he photographs on a regular basis. Doug works freelance out of Yukon, OK, a suburb of Oklahoma City.

On the Day And Night Collection:

I have been shooting alot of models and weddings lately, and haven’t been able to explore a dark side in some time. So all these ideas with blood and violence, along with a fixation on TRUE BLOOD have made me been wanting to do a vampire shoot. The Day and Night series focuses on three girls and two sets: one during the day, when they are hanging out, having fun, things are lighter, happier, yet there is still a feeling of sexual tension, while in the Night collection the same models portray vampire sisters fighting over new prey. The results, I felt, are highly rewarding.
