Short Bio
Tackling subjects as diverse as street fashion, food and fine art, Daniel Krieger has become a vital presence among New York City’s cache of talented working photographers. In addition to his steady work with restaurant industry website Eater.com and fashion insider blog Racked.com, Krieger’s work has been featured in outlets like the Wall Street Journal, the Daily News, the New York Post, Time Out New York, the London Times, Elle Décor and numerous other magazines and publications.

And on the specific set of photos being featured of Chinatown

My set of photos focuses on New York City’s bustling, charmingly grimy neighborhood of Chinatown. I’ve spent a lot of time wandering through the streets of this area of Manhattan, exploring its many restaurants and taking in the unique culture, which has always fascinated me. The people-especially the elderly-are mysterious and secretive…and always camera shy. Shooting this complex, occasionally hostile but always inspiring area is a worthy challenge for me.
