STEPHANIE MOORE BIO

Growing up in Los Angeles, I spent far too many hours of my youth at clubs aroundtown, seeing every band I possibly could. When I went to college at the University of Colorado at Boulder, my main focus wasn’t academics or even partying, but gettinginvolved with the student group that booked all the concerts on campus. Money forschool ran out after my freshman year and I came back to L.A., attending UCLA andeventually graduating with a degree in Political Science.

Needing a job after graduation, I went to work at KCAL-TV as a Production Assistantand my decade long career in Sports Television had begun. After two Emmy Awards at Fox Sports Net as a Writer and Producer, I decided to give up my steady paycheck andreturn to my real passions – photography and music. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to do make a living doing what I love.

As photographers are having to adjust to the new realities of interactive media and movingimages, because of my television background I feel like I’m already ahead of the curve.
